The final part of the book is about Quentin becoming obsessed with the clues that Margo leaves for him and is determined to find her no matter what it takes. Quentin and his friends often came to the abandoned building to see if there were any more clues. When they come this time, they talk to Gus, the security guard of the building, and he tells them about how he used to always take Margo on adventures when she was 13 years old. Gus also explained how Margo would never want to explore, but instead stay at the building and write in a little black notebook. As the days pass by, Quentin becomes more and more frustrated with not being able to find Margo. Quentin and his friends go to a barn to look for Margo and when they get there they see her car. They find Margo and when the others leave, Margo yells at Quentin for not warning her that he was coming and when he replies back saying that he couldn't because she went missing and left everyone to think she was dead, she replies yelling how he didn't come to see if she was okay but to feel like he was the romantic hero.

Paper Towns part 2
The middle of this book is about how Quentin starts to put together the clues that Margo left for him and gets more concerned as the days pass that Margo is still missing. He finds a paper with an address on it and decides to look for Margo there but doubts that he will find her alive. The next morning Quentin and his friends go to the address while everyone is at work or school. They find graffiti on the wall saying "YOU WILL GO TO THE PAPER TOWNS/ AND YOU WILL NEVER COME BACK." (Page 149). The next couple of days, Quentin is still freaking out about Margo's missing and possible death but is convinced by his friends to go to prom. Instead of going to prom he goes to the building that him and his friends went to to look for Margo and sees that someone has been in there since he last went there. He takes another entrance and sees clues that Margo could have been here since he was last here. He is not successful with finding Margo.
